The child, born in the Lindo Wing at St Mary's Hospital in London, has the title and the treatment of Her Royal Highness the Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge. Buckingham Palace announced July 22, 2013 that the predicate of the prince would be "Cambridge". This according to the custom that he wants the title of a prince newborn contains the predicate father, such as happened to his father William, Duke of Cambridge, formerly known as William of Wales prior to the granting of the title of duke in 2011.
As prince of the British royal family, George does not use a last name: moments in formal ceremonies or, in fact, the sons of the dukes of the blood royal bearing the title of prince or princess, followed by their first name and the feud upon which the paternal title.
For the male-line grandchildren of Elizabeth II, however, there is some uncertainty over the correct form of family surname to use, or if there is also a family name. The Queen has stipulated that all his male-line descendants who do not have the dignity of principles to use Mountbatten-Windsor as their family surname, although there are letters patent provide only Windsor
